If the device stops working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the prob-
lem yourself. Otherwise you should contact the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!

Possible cause/solution
• Is the mains plug correctly inserted in the plug socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse of your mains connection.
• The stain is too stubborn or too old. Treat it specifi cally
with a carpet cleaning product.
• Is the dust bag inserted? Never use the device as a dry
vacuum cleaner without a dust bag!
• Is the fresh water reservoir empty (min. fi ll level: 1 litre)?
Top up the water.
• Is the hose not plugged far enough into the fresh water
reservoir? Correct the fi t.
