Troubleshooting

yourself.
The following table contains tips as to how you can remedy small problems yourself:

Possible cause/solution
Ensure that the plug is correctly inserted into the plug
socket.
• Is the exhaust air valve in the handle open? Close
it.
• Adjust the suction strength on the suction
strength control.
• Is the dust container full? Empty the dust con-
tainer.
• Is one of the HEPA fi lters or the exhaust air fi lter
heavily soiled? Clean it.
• Is the nozzle, the telescopic tube or the suction
hose clogged? Pull out the mains plug and clear
the clogging.
Check whether the exhaust air fi lter and the HEPA
dust fi lter are inserted into the dust container cor-
rectly and whether the dust container is closed and
inserted correctly. Correct this if necessary.
A new odour is normal when the device is used for
the fi rst time; it disappears after a while.
