Attaching / Removing Lid
Assembling Suction Tube
• Assemble the suction tube (13) by plugging the individual pieces together. Plug the
open end of the handpiece (1) into the top of the suction tube (13). Twist the hand-
piece (1) back and forth slightly as you do this. Then check the connection to make
sure there is a secure fi t.
• To remove the suction tube (13), pull it off the handpiece (1).

• Plug the free end of the suction tube (13) as far as it will go into one of the suction
nozzles supplied. Twist the nozzle back and forth slightly as you do this.
• If you want to use the spray fl oor nozzle, you must also connect the two parts of the
fresh water hose together:
– To do this, fi rst place the fastening ring (11) and then the spray fl oor nozzle onto
the suction tube (13).
– Pull the bottom part of the fresh water hose (3), which is attached to the spray fl oor
nozzle, through the fastening ring (11) on the suction tube (13).

4. Place the receptacle for the fresh water reservoir (14) and
the holder for the castors (16) into the recesses provided
for them on the bottom of the dirty water and dust con-
tainer (9).
5. Screw the holders tight using the four cross-head screws
that are also supplied.
• Place the lid (7) onto the dirty water and dust container (9).
Close the clamping fasteners (8) on both sides by placing
the clip down over the top of the edge and fl ipping down
the clamping lever.
• To remove the lid (7), fl ip up the lever of the clamping fas-
tener (8) and remove the clip from the edge. Pull up the lid
by the handle (5) and take it off.
• Plug the connection piece of the suction hose (12) into the
intake opening on the front of the dirty water and dust con-
tainer (9). Make sure when you do this that the locking lug
is seated at the top. Secure the connection piece in place
by turning it clockwise.
• To remove the hose (12), rotate the connection piece
slightly anticlockwise and pull it out.
