Important:
Never pour water into the bean hopper or grinder area. Otherwise the grinder
could clog. Only start use with all parts of the grinder completely dry. Never fill
the water tank once the coffee brewer has started a brewing cycle. This will affect
the volume dispensed into the cup and could cause overflow. Before starting
a brewing cycle, always ensure that the water tank is filled to avoid
overheating.
Note:
Check the water level on the LCD screen before use. Do not operate the coffee
brewer with the water tank empty. We recommend always keeping the water tank
full. The water tank should be refilled with cold, preferably filtered water. Do not
fill with any other liquid. Do not exceed the maximum (12 cups, 1.7 litres). Doing
so may cause water spillage at the back of the coffee brewer.
1. Fill the water tank. See above: ›Filling the Water Tank‹.
2. Pre-warm the cup or travel mug.
A warm cup will help maintain the coffee's optimal temperature and keep the
coffee hot for a longer period of time. Fill the cup with hot water for about 30
seconds then discard the water.
3. Place the cup into position under the drip stop outlet.
Tip:
For taller cups and travel mugs, first remove the drip tray at the base of the coffee
brewer. Then press the OPEN button to open the swing-out door. Insert the cup/
mug into the drip tray cavity before closing the swing-out door. The maximum cup/
mug dimensions are 19 cm height, 14 cm in diameter.
4. Select 'Single Cup' mode
Press the CUP | CARAFE dial until the LCD screen displays the CUP symbol and
the current cup size selected in ounces. Rotate the CUP | CARAFE dial to select
