FILLING THE WATER TANK
Important:
Never use mineral water, or distilled, de-mineralised or highly filtered water as
this will affect the functioning of the coffee brewer and the taste of your coffee.
Fill the water tank with cold, fresh, filtered tap water or bottled table water with
low mineral content.
Do not exceed the maximum (12 cups). Doing so may cause the carafe to overflow
or water spillage at the back of the coffee brewer. Never fill the water tank once
the coffee brewer has started a brewing cycle. This will affect the volume dispensed
into the cup or carafe and cause overflow. Do not operate the coffee brewer with
the water tank empty.
Important:
Never pour water into the bean hopper or grinder area. Otherwise the grinder
could clog. Only start use with all parts of the grinder completely dry.
1. Press the flip-top lid to open the water tank.
2. Pour the desired amount of cold, preferably filtered water into the water tank
using a jug or the provided carafe. If using the carafe, ensure that the carafe is
clean and the carafe lid is securely locked in place. The LCD screen will indicate
the amount of water in the tank as it is filled. The coffee brewer will beep, when
full and the water level indicator will rise to indicate the maximum level.
3. Close the flip-top lid.
