– Fill with oil before starting the machine. The product
is delivered without oil.
– Do not use used oil!
– Check the oil level before each operation.

Spilled oil can pollute the environment permanently.
The liquid is highly toxic and can quickly lead to water
pollution.
– Fill/empty oil only on level, paved surfaces.
– Use a filling nozzle or funnel.
– Collect drained oil in a suitable container.
– Wipe up spilled oil carefully immediately and dis-
pose of the cloth according to local regulations.
– Dispose of oil as per local regulations.

Fuel is toxic and highly flammable.

Risk of fire and explosion!
Only fill the fuel when the engine is switched off and
has cooled down. Do not smoke when refuelling the
product.

When filling, fuel may ignite and even explode. This can
lead to severe burns or death.

Health hazard!
Inhalation of fuel / lubricating oil vapours and exhaust
gases can cause serious damage to health, uncon-
sciousness and in extreme cases death.
– Do not breathe fuel / lubricating oil vapours and ex-
haust gases.
– Operate the product outdoors only.

8.1
Fitting the wheels (Fig. 3)
1. Fit the wheels (5) provided as shown.
8.2
Earthing the product (Fig. 4)
ATTENTION
Electric shock!
– Do not use bare wires for earthing.
– Product must be safely earthed.
Notes:
• The earthing cable/earthing rod is not included in the
scope of delivery.
• Earthing regulations may vary depending on the coun-
try. Contact a local electrician to verify compliance
with regional regulations.
Earthing cable
1. Connect the earthing cable to the earth.
2. Loosen the nut on the earthing screw (3j) and connect
the earthing cable to the earthing terminal.
3. Secure the connection by tightening the nut on the
earthing terminal.
Earthing rod
1. Connect the earthing cable to an earthing rod using
an approved earthing clamp.
2. Loosen the nut on the earthing screw and connect the
earthing cable to the earthing terminal.
3. Secure the connection by tightening the nut on the
earthing terminal.
4. Drive the earthing rod into the ground to a depth of at
least 0.2 metres or in accordance with local electrical
regulations.
8.3
Filling up with engine oil (Fig. 5)
ATTENTION
The product is delivered without engine oil. There-
fore, ensure that you add oil before starting it up.
Use SAE 10W-30 oil.
The engine oil affects the performance and service life of
the product.
Check the oil level regularly before commissioning. An oil
level that is too low can damage the motor.
1. Open the maintenance door (4).
2. Unscrew the oil dipstick (9a).
3. Fill the engine oil tank (9) using a funnel.
Observe the max fill level (see Technical Data).
Carefully fill the engine oil up to the lower edge of the
filling nozzle.
4. Wipe the oil dipstick (9a) with a clean, lint-free cloth.
5. Reinsert the oil dipstick (9a) without screwing the oil
dipstick (9a) back on.
6. Pull the oil dipstick (9a) out and read the oil level in
the horizontal position. The oil level must be within the
middle mark on the oil dipstick (9a).
7. If the oil level is too low, add the recommended
amount of engine oil (see Technical Data).
8. Then screw the oil dipstick (9a) in again.
