Brief explanation

Cold start
Remove the guide bar and chain
guard (26) from the guide bar (15).
Push the front hand guard (1) for-
wards until it latches into place.
Press the fuel pump "primer" (6)

Pull out the choke (7).
Hold the chainsaw firmly by the
front handle (2) and pull the pull
starter (4) out slowly until you feel
the first resistance.
Do not press the choke (7).
As soon as the engine has
stopped, actuate the throttle in-
terlock (8) and the throttle (9) to-
gether.
Now pull the pull starter (4) again
and the engine should start.
Release the chain brake by pull-
ing the front hand guard (1) back-
wards.

Warm start
