3.5 Fitting the rear mudguard to the bike (Backroad AL)
A Attach the mudguard to the frame. Place a
small washer on the M5x12 mm bolt and
insert both through the hole in the mudguard
provided for your frame size. Close each of the
remaining holes with a cover cap. Depending
on the size of your frame, fit a washer or
spacer washer between the mudguard and the
seat stay bridge.
Tighten the bolt to 2 Nm.
B Attach the side struts to the threaded eyelets
on the seat stays. Place a small washer on the
M5x20 mm bolt and insert both through the
mounting clamp.
Tighten the bolt to 2 Nm.
C Place a small washer on the M5x12 mm
bolt and insert both through the mudguard.
Depending on the size of your frame, fit
a large washer or 5 mm spacer washer
between the mudguard and the chainstay
bridge.
Tighten the bolt to 2 Nm.
