EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES
• Parallel guide
• Hexagonal spanner
PREPARATION FOR WORK
• Clamp the workpiece. Make sure that the side that will be
seen later is facing downwards, as the cut is most accurate
on this side.
• Switch on the machine before touching the workpiece. Do
not exert pressure on the cutting disc. Allow the machine
sufficient time to cut the workpiece.
• Hold the device with both hands, using both handles. This
ensures optimal control of the device.
SETTING THE CUTTING DEPTH
• Release the locking lever of the cutting depth regulator (9);
• Tilt the guide plate downwards;
• Set the depth of cut using the scale. The saw teeth must
extend approximately 2 mm beyond the wood;
• Push the locking lever downwards.
GUIDE PLATE ADJUSTMENT (CUTTING ANGLE)
• Loosen the locking screw of the diagonal cut adjuster (8);
• Adjust the guide plate to the desired angle between 0 and
45°;
• Tighten the locking screw.
Never allow your hand or fingers to be behind the running
saw. If recoil occurs, the saw may fall on your hand,
causing serious injury.

DUST EXTRACTION

• The circular saw is equipped with a dust extraction port (7)
for extracting the chips and dust generated during cutting.
• A workshop or domestic hoover can be connected to the
dust outlet of the tool using a dust hose kit. Before use,
ensure that the metal mounting clamp is flush with the end
of the hose.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
ON/OFF
The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage rating
on the saw's rating plate. Hold the chainsaw with both
hands when starting, as the torque of the motor may cause
the power tool to rotate uncontrollably.
It is important to bear in mind that when the saw is
switched off, its moving parts are still spinning for some
time.

The saw is equipped with a switch lock button (10) to prevent
accidental starting. Switching on:
• Press the switch lock button (10)
• Press the on/off button (1).
Switching off:
• Release pressure on the switch button (1). CUTTING
• When starting work, always hold the saw securely with both
hands using both handles.
• The saw must only be switched on when it is away from the
material to be cut.
• Do not push the saw with excessive force, apply moderate,
continuous pressure.
• Allow the cutting disc to come to a complete stop when cutting
is complete.
• If the cut is interrupted before it is intended to be completed,
when continuing, first wait until the saw has reached its
maximum speed after starting and then carefully guide the
cutting disc into the cut material.
• When cutting across the fibres of the material (wood),
sometimes the fibres tend to rise upwards and tear off (moving
the saw at low speed minimises the occurrence of this
tendency).
• Ensure that the bottom guard reaches the end position in its
movement.
• Always make sure that the cutting depth lock lever and the saw
foot setting lock knob are properly tightened before cutting.
• Only cutting discs with the correct outer diameter and bore
diameter of the cutting disc seat must be used with the saw.
• The material to be cut should be immobilised securely.
• The wider part of the saw foot should be placed on the part of
the material that is not being cut.
If the dimensions of the material are small, the material
must be restrained with a carpenter's clamp. There is a
danger of kickback if the saw blade is raised rather than
sliding over the material. By properly restraining the
material you are cutting and holding the saw firmly, you
will have full control of the power tool to avoid the danger
of injury. Do not attempt to support short pieces of
material with your hand.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the power cord from the mains socket before
carrying out any installation, adjustment, repair, or
operation.
• Ensure that the ventilation openings in the saw housing are
always unobstructed and free of dust deposits. All controls
on the saw should also always be clean. If necessary, clean
them with a brush. Use compressed air for the most effective
cleaning. When using compressed air, always wear splash
goggles and a protective mask. Do not clean the ventilation
slots by inserting sharp objects such as screwdrivers or
similar into the slots.
• Do not use petrol, solvent or detergents for cleaning, which
could damage the plastic parts of the chainsaw.
• If excessive sparking occurs on the motor commutator, the
power tool must be taken out of service and taken to a
service workshop.
• During normal operation, the cutting disc becomes dull after
some time. A sign of a dull cut-off wheel is the need to apply
more pressure when moving the saw during cutting. If the
cutting disc is found to be damaged, it must be replaced
immediately.
• The cutting disc should always be sharp.
REPLACEMENT OF THE CUTTING DISC
NOTE: Before making any changes to the circular saw,
unplug the power supply!
• Open the bottom guide and hold the saw.
• Use the spindle lock to stop the movement of the disc;
• Loosen the screw with a spanner;
• Remove the outer flange and disc;
• Clean the flange and insert a new disc.
Note the direction of rotation (see arrow on the cover);
• Use the spindle lock to stop the movement of the disc;
