Troubleshooting

Even though the model is a state-of-the-art product, there can still be malfunctions or faults. For this reason, we would
like to give you some information on how to deal with possible problems.
 The model does not react, or the vehicle's reaction to transmitter control commands are not normal
• Are the vehicle driving batteries or the batteries/rechargeable batteries in the transmitter discharged? Replace the
driving batteries in the vehicle with new, fully charged ones; proceed accordingly at the transmitter.
• Did you switch on the transmitter and the speed controller?
• Are the driving batteries connected to the speed controller correctly?
• Do all crystals and receivers use the same frequency?
• Is the transmitter crystal (labelled T or TX) in the transmitter and the receiver crystal (labelled R or RX) in the
receiver? If the crystals are swapped, transmitter and receiver will not work or not work correctly.
• Is the vehicle too far away? With a fully charged driving batteries and fully charged batteries/rechargeable batteries
in the transmitter, the range should be 100 m and more. The range can be decreased by outside influences, such as
transmitters working on the same or an adjacent frequency. replace the crystals in transmitter and receiver; see
chapter 12.
• Check the correct position of the speed controller and steering servo plugs in the receiver. If the plugs are inserted
rotated by 180°, the speed controller and steering servo will not work.
If, however, the speed controller and steering servo plugs are swapped, the throttle/brake lever controls the steering
servo, and the wheel controls driving.
 The vehicle does not stop when the throttle/brake lever is released
• Adjust the driving trimmer at the transmitter.
• If the trimming path is not sufficient, put the trimmer into its centre position at the transmitter and then reprogram the
speed controller; see chapter 10. a).
 The vehicle becomes slower or the steering servo only shows weak or no responses.
• The driving batteries are weak or discharged.
The receiver power supply and thus also the power supply of the steering servo is achieved through the speed
controller BEC. Therefore, weak or discharged driving batteries will cause the receiver to no longer work properly.
Replace the driving batteries with new, fully charged ones.
