Fitting the Extraction Hose

A maximum of two fume extraction torches may be attached to the device. The fitting of a single
extraction hose is described below. If two extraction hoses are to be fitted at the same time, first fit a

the fume collection device (for
example fume extraction torch).
Connect the other end of the extraction

hose to the air extraction fitting of the

Fitting Y-Distributor for Connection of Multiple Extraction Hoses

To be able to fit up to two extraction hoses at the same time, the intermediate flange on the air
extraction fitting must be replaced by a Y-distributor first.
If a Y-distributor is used, the device no longer fulfills the requirements of DIN EN ISO 21904.
