4. Carry out a cutting test. If the cutting perfor-
mance is insufficient, screw the grub screws
slightly further in.

1. Loosen bolts (34/1).
2. Remove sliding block (34/2) to the front (34/a).
3. Install the mower blades again in the reverse
order.
Note: When reinstalling the sliding block
(34/2), the protruding lug must be facing in
the direction of travel!

9 TRANSPORT

Before transport:
■
Switch off the engine.
■
Wait for the cutting device to come to a
standstill after the engine has been
switched off.
■
Before driving outside of working area, dis-
connect the cutting device from the engine.
10 STORAGE
The appliance should be stored where it is pro-
tected against the effects of weather, especially
moisture, rain and lengthy exposure to direct sun-
light.
Never store the appliance with fuel in the tank in-
side a building in which fuel vapours may possi-
bly come into contact with naked flames or
sparks. Park the appliance only in buildings that
are suitable for parking motor vehicles.

Refuel with petrol.

If possible, do not store the appliance for long pe-
riods, e.g. over winter, with a full fuel tank. The
fuel can evaporate.
Before long-term storage, the fuel should be
drained from the tank and the carburettor in order
to avoid any build-up of deposits, which could re-
sult in problems when starting. Please contact
your specialist workshop for advice.
11 WASTE DISPOSAL AND
If your appliance ever becomes unserviceable or
you no longer need it, do not dispose of it with
your domestic waste, but in accordance with the
applicable environmental regulations.

Always wear protective gloves during mainte-
nance, care and cleaning work!
Pull off the spark plug connector before start-
ing any maintenance or care work!
NOTE For malfunctions that are not listed in
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Carefully drain the oil/lubricant and fuel tanks
and dispose of any residues at a hazardous
waste collection point or landfill site.
Dispose of the actual appliance at an appro-
priate collection/recycling point. Plastic and
metal parts can be separated and recycled.
