22 Eliminate errors
If the device does not work as intended, check it using the following table.
Symptom
Device cannot be switched on.
No sound can be heard.
The display does not switch on.
Reception via DAB+/FM is poor.
Device cannot be operated.
No WLAN connection possible
Device switches off automatically.
Poor Bluetooth connection and

Possible cause/remedy
The device is not supplied with power.
Connect the mains cable/power supply unit
correctly to the socket.
Check that the local power supply
matches the power supply printed on the
power supply unit.
Increase the volume.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains
and reapply power.
Change the position of the antenna or the
DIGITRADIO 4 IR.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains
and reapply power.
Restart the WLAN wizard and check that the
password has been entered correctly.
Out of range of WLAN reception.
Reduce the range to the WLAN router
New WLAN devices may not be authorised.
Check the configuration of your WLAN
router.
Depending on the playback mode, the
device automatically switches to standby
mode if there is no playback, the volume has
been turned down and no operation has
taken place for 15 minutes.
Do not exceed the maximum range of 10m via
Bluetooth.
