Safety
2.1
Correct use
The SeGMo-Box GEL 6505 is used to easily network up to five positioning drives of the SeGMo-
Positioning product group. It controls and manages the connected positioning drives.
The box is only intended for connecting positioning drives with H1/H2/H3/HS/S1/S2/S3/xx/Vx
connection technology and CO communication interface.
The box is intended exclusively for operation in industrial and commercial uses. It is designed for
assembly in a housing, switch cabinet or operating room.
The box must be integrated into a higher level control system and may only be operated if the
following conditions are met:

These operating instructions and all reference documents must be observed.
●
The technical data, connection conditions and operating modes must be observed.
●
The box must not come into direct contact with food, feed or pharmaceuticals.
●
The box and machine/system must meet the technical requirements at the place of use as well
as any applicable laws, regulations, directives and standards.

●
Environments with corrosive acids, alkaline solutions, oils, vapors or dusts
●
Environments with electroconductive acids, alkaline solutions, oils, vapors or dusts
●
Environments with higher requirements for the degree of protection than those specified for
this product

Home
●
Use as a safety component
●
Use of damaged products
●
Use of altered or modified products
●
Use of products that have not been repaired by Lenord+Bauer.

Foreseeable misuse

Use of non-qualified personnel
