6.2 Mounting the box
Prerequisites:
Top-hat rail (35 mm) attached to the mounting surface to hold the mounting rail clamp
 If necessary, install a plug-in module

NOTICE Penetration of foreign bodies or liquids!
● Do not use a pressure washer.
 Wipe and clean the contact surfaces of the top hat rail and mounting rail clamp (functional
ground contacts).
 Mount the box vertically on the top hat rail with the cable outlets facing downwards (assembly
sequence from ① to ③ in the GEL 6505A assembly figure).

Move the box up to the top hat rail clamp.

Tilt the box and insert the lower part of the top hat rail into the mounting rail clamp.
③
Tilt the box and insert the upper part of the top hat rail into the mounting rail clamp.
Ensure that the top hat rail snaps into the mounting rail clamp.
Assembly ist completed.
