Design N/U: Cable glands
1 Cable glands for positioning drives (M20)

2 Cable routing for communication interfaces
● Design N/U: Cable glands (M16)
● Design C: Through bores
3 Cable routing of the power supply (power circuit and logic circuit; functional ground)
● Design N/U: Cable glands (M16, M25)
● Design C: Through bores
As required for design C: Fasten the cable glands.
 Fasten the cable glands for the communication interfaces and the power supply to the housing.
Seal all cable glands that are not in use.
 Seal all unused cable glands with sealing plugs
(for example, accessories VB1246).
Tightening torques for design N/U: 1.5 Nm (M16); 3 Nm (M20); 4 Nm (M25)
Tightening torques for design C: 1.5 Nm (M16); 10 Nm (M20); 4 Nm (M25)
GEL 6505B: Cable glands and sealing plugs
Insert the connection cables into the box.
 Route all connection cables through the corresponding cable glands and reducer sealing
inserts.
