10.5 Connecting the positioning drives
Minimum bending radiuses hybrid cables
● Design N: 95 mm
● Design U/C: 142.5 mm
 Fit the hybrid cables with the spring-cage terminals
 Connect the spring-cage terminals of the hybrid cables to the corresponding socket strips in
the box.
 Fix the hybrid cables:
GEL 6505B: Fixing the cable screen
 Turn the screw of the cable clip counterclockwise as far as possible out of the ground rail.
 Insert the hybrid cable into the corresponding hybrid cable entry of the box.
 Place the hybrid cable on the ground rail so that the entire surface of the cable clip encloses
the exposed part of the hybrid cable screen.
 Turn the screw of the cable clip clockwise into the ground rail. Ensure good contact of the
cable screen. Tightening torque: 1.4 Nm.
10.6 Connecting the power supply and functional ground
Preparations
 Assemble the connection cables for the power supply (depending on the connection cable and
the ferrules).
 Strip 7.9 mm of insulation of the functional ground cable and fit the forked cable lug.
