Compressed air vessel maintenance
(7) (Fig. 1)
ATTENTION
To ensure a long service life for the pressure vessel,
drain off the condensate after each use by opening the
drain screw.
1. Drain the vessel pressure completely.
2. Open the condensation water drain plug (8) by turning
it anticlockwise.
3. Wait until the condensation water has completely
drained out of the compressed air vessel (7).
4. Close the compressed air vessel (7) again by reat-
taching the drain plug for condensation water (8) by
turning it clockwise. Make sure that the seal properly
closes the compressed air vessel (7).
Note:
• Do not operate the compressor with a damaged or
rusty pressure vessel.
If you discover any damage, please contact the cus-

ATTENTION
The condensate from the pressure vessel contains oil
residue. Dispose of the condensate in an environmen-

11.2.2
Safety valve (10) (fig. 1)
• The safety valve is set to the maximum permissible
pressure of the pressure vessel.
• It is not permitted to adjust the safety valve or remove
the connection lock between the exhaust nut and its
cap.
• Actuate the safety valve every 30 operating hours but
at least 3 times a year to ensure that it works when re-
quired.
1. Turn the knurled nut on the safety valve (10) anti-

2. Tighten the knurled nut on the safety valve (10) by
turning it clockwise again.
