Installation
5.2 Mounting the product
During installation, make sure that no moisture,
dust or foreign objects can penetrate into the
product.
The product can be mounted by screwing the enclosure
directly to the wall. Alternatively, the following prod-
uct variants can be mounted with mounting brackets
(MF FPC 9536040000):

ATTENTION
Material damage due to unsuitable
If the diameter of the screw
too large, the screw may become wedged in the mount-
ing hole and damage the enclosure. For the same rea-
son, countersunk screws are unsuitable.
For wall mounting, use screws with the properties de-
scribed below.
Half-round head screws or cylinder head screws are suita-
ble, e.g. according to DIN 7049, DIN 7981 or ISO 14585. If
you mount the enclosure on a metal plate, use half-round
head screws or cylinder head screws according to DIN
4762 or DIN 1207.

The length X (penetration depth into the wall) must be at
least 13 mm and dimensioned in such a way that a secure
hold in the wall is guaranteed.

The product can be destroyed!
The IP protection class described only applies if the en-
closure is not damaged.
Do not drill any additional holes in the enclosure under
any circumstances.
Do not change the existing openings under any cir-
cumstances.
Lift the product out of its packaging.

tachment holes
Measure the exact
holes on the enclosure or the holes on the mounting
brackets.

Mark the drilling positions on the wall.
Drill the holes in the wall
required.
If mounting brackets are used, mount the box on the
wall now.
If no mounting brackets are used, remove the enclosure
cover from the product.
Screw the product onto the wall through the mounting
holes.
Refit the cover.
