8.5 Changing the contact pressure of the
feed rollers
The adjustment screw for the contact pressure (Figure 8.4)
is located on the front of the machine.
Allen key 4.0 mm

► To increase the contact pressure, turn the adjustment
screw clockwise.
► To decrease the contact pressure, turn the adjustment
screw anticlockwise.

8.6 Renew feed rollers
Allen key 3.0 mm
► Make sure that the machine is de-energised (see chap-
ter 8.3).
► Have a container ready for the mounting screws.
► Dismantle the protective cover.

► Remove the fixing screws (Figure 8.5, 1)
► Remove the cover plate (Figure 8.5, 2).
► Remove the fixing screws (Figure 8.5, 3)
► Remove the feed rollers (Figure 8.5, 4) and put on the
new rollers.
► Screw both feed rollers tight.
► Refit the cover plate (Figure 8.5, 2).
► Refit the protective cover.
