Setting up the machine
Risk of death due to electric shock!
Only switch on the machine if these condi-
tions are met:
– The mains connection cable is in good
condition.
– The protective cover is fitted.
► Switch on the machine (Figure 3.2, 15).
The machine performs an empty cut and the feed rollers
are closed if they were last open.
The starting page (Home) is shown in the display.

The machine is supplied with the following features:
– Operating language English
– User type User
For information on how to change the language, see Chap-
ter 5.3.
On the starting page, you have access to the menus of the
operating software.
The Settings menu and the Feeder menu are enabled,
since the user type User (Default) has no authorisation for
them.
If you want to operate the machine with feeder,
first load the feeder with wires, see Chapter 5.18.

5.1 General operating instructions
ATTENTION
The display can be damaged!
The display can be scratched by unsuitable tools.
► Operate the touch display with your finger or use an
input pen with a silicone head.
► Tap the menu you want to open.
All settings you make are saved when you exit the menu.
There are two ways to exit a menu:
► Tap the symbol, to move to the star-
ting page.
Home
► Tap the symbol to move one step
back in the current menu.
Back
Whenever numeric entries are required, a numeric keypad
appears on the display.

In addition to the numerals, there are keys with the follow-
ing functions:
► Tap the symbol to apply the input.
The numeric keypad is closed.
► Tap the symbol to change the input.
The numeric keypad is closed.
► Tap DEL to delete the last digit of
your entry.
