The „driving resistance graph" shows the driving resistance of the kart which is subject to variation
according to weight of driver, transmission ratio and grip of the tyres.
The „performance graph 1" shows the performance characteristic with the best possible size of
main jet. The engine performance characteristic is always above the kart driving resistance and
the engine could reach the maximum speed of 14000 r.p.m.
The „performance graph 2" shows the engine performance characteristic with a main jet not
optimised. The engine performance characteristic and kart driving resistance are intersecting.
The maximum engine speed would be in this case at the intersection of the two graphs
(approximately 12400 r.p.m.)
