SETTING UP THE SYSTEM
To get the best performance from this system, set it up as shown in
Fig. on page 2.

NOTE:
e Place the speakers so that they aren't touching any other components.
/f they are touching, vibrations transmitted from the speakers to other
components may adversely affect sound quality. Preventing radiation
of heat from the amplifier may also cause malfunctioning.
e /f the turntable is mounted directly on or against a speaker, the
vibration from the speaker will be transported to the tonearm's
cartridge, thus causing feedback howling. Be sure that speakers are
mounted sufficiently isolated from the turntable.
CONDENSATION
When the unit is brought into a warm room from previously cold
conditions or when the room temperature is suddenly increased,
QDOO®HOHO
condensation may form inside and the unit may not be able to attain
its full performance. In cases like this, allow the unit to stand for
about an hour or raise the room temperature gradually.

7. Place platter mat on platter (with "PIONEER" side up).
8. Remove the vinyl band holding the tonearm.
9. Remove the tonearm from the arm rest.
10. Remove the stylus cover.
