Tensioning the belt with V-belt drive
(Fig. 10 + 11)
To tension the V-belt, loosen the hex screws
("M"; Fig. 11), including the hex screws on the
opposite side (total 8 pieces).
Now tighten the hex nut ("N"; Fig. 12).
To check the belt tension, unscrew the cover
found on the side of the drive cover. Now press
with the thumb on the tensioned belt; under
strong pressure, it may give only approx. 10-15
To resolve problems, switch off the machine. Pull the plug!
