Possible causes:
• Pressure points, if cords are run through win-
dow or door gaps.
• Bent points, due to improper securing or run-
ning of the cords.
• Cut points due to running over the cords.
• Insulation damage due to ripping out the plug
from the wall socket.
• Cracks due to aging of the insulation. Such
damaged power cords may not be used and
pose life-threatening danger due to the insula-
tion damage!
Regularly check power supply cords for damage.
Make sure that during such checks, the cord is
not connected to the mains voltage. Power sup-
ply cords must adhere to the relevant VDE and
DIN requirements and the local power company
regulation. Use only cords labelled H07RN. An
imprint of the classification on the cords is re-
quired.
• Observe the safety instructions before start-
up.
• All protective and auxiliary equipment must be
mounted.
• Carry out retrofitting, adjustment, measure-
ment and cleaning tasks only when the motor
is switched off. Pull the plug and wait for the
rotating tool to come to a stop.
• The rocker circular saw is designed exclusively
for cross-cut sawing of firewood with a maxi-
mum length of 1 meter.
• Multiple pieces of wood may be sawn at the
same time. Make sure that the wood is laid se-
curely in the rocker
• Make sure the logs between the two saw
blades rest properly in order to prevent any
displacement while sawing (Fig.17). Put only
as many logs as necessary to make sure this
measure is guaranteed.
• Place the logs so that they can be held secure-
ly with the wooden handle.
• Close the protective hinged cover (B) to saw
(Fig. 04)
• Use the wood retaining lever (C) when cutting
with the saw. Press the rocker forward using
the hand grip (D).
• Carry out maintenance, repair and cleaning
work as well as resolution of function disrup-
tions only when the drive is switched off (pull
the mains plug or remove the ignition key).
• Check the tension in the V-belt after the first
operating hour, as well as before every start-
up.
• All ball bearings are provided with permanent
lubrication. The circular saw blade is a wear
part and is to be checked before every start-
up. Only a well-sharpened, straight-set saw
blade delivers good cutting performance. Oc-
casional lubrication of the saw blade is recom-
mended.
• Extension cables must have a minimum cross-
section of 1.5 mm² up to 25 m in length; over 25
m in length, at least 2.5 mm².
• The mains connection is fused with 16 A.
• The customer-side mains connection must be
fused with an earth leakage circuit breaker with
a rated differential current of maximum 30 mA.
Three-phase alternating current motor
• Mains voltage must be 380–420 V/50 Hz.
• Mains connection and extension cords must
be 5-poled (3 P + N + earth).
• Extension cords cables must have a minimum
cross-section of 1.5 mm².
• -The mains connection is fused with maximum
16 A.
• During connection to the mains or change
in location, the rotational direction must be
checked; if necessary, the polarity must be
changed.
Repairs and changes to the connections of the
Start-up
• The wood may not be secured with the hand.
• When sawing, make sure to execute the
cutting stroke slowly and carefully
• When emptying the rocker´s outlet, make sure
there are no splinters and wood chips between
the saw rockers and the rocker´s outlet, always
keep this area clean
• To empty the rocker (Fig.14) after the saw cut,
open the hinged guard (P) and then tip the
rocker emission (Q) outward.
• Check the tension in the V-belt after the first
operating hour, as well as before every start-
up.
• If you do not use the rocker circular saw for
a longer period of time, take off all springs to
preserve them.
Attention:
• For crooked pieces of wood, the crooked side
must be pointed toward the saw blade slit in
order to keep the wood from tipping over and
jamming during the cutting process.
Changing the saw blade of the rocker circular
saw
• Carry out maintenance, repair and cleaning
Maintenance
Additional maintenance tasks: re-tension the
V-belts in the drive shaft
Changing the transmission oil
• Refresh the transmission oil annually.
• Use SAE 90 transmission oil.
• The fill volume is 0.66 litres.
• The figure (Fig.16) shows the mitre gear oil fill
screw.("S")
• Pour in oil until it is just under the edge of the
fill hole
• Dispose of old oil in an environmentally friendly
way!
Tensioning the belt (Fig. 06 + 07)
The V-belt tension is to be checked after the first
operating hour and before every start-up. To ten-
sion the belt, remove the lock nut "F" and tighten
the hex nut "G" with a jaw spanner SW 13.

electrical equipment may be carried out only by a
qualified electrician.
For correspondence, please supply the following
data:
• Motor manufacturer; Motor type
• Current type of the motor
• Data of the machine rating plate
• Data of the electrical control system
When returning the motor, always send the
complete drive unit with the electrical control
system.
General notes for handling theelectrical
equipment:
• When switching on the motor, first move the
switch to the star, wait briefly, and then switch
to the triangle.
• Do not use the on-off switch more than twice
a minute
work as well as resolution of function disrup-
tions only when the drive is switched off (pull
the mains plug or turn off the hauler and re-
move the ignition key).
• To exchange the saw blade, also unlatch the
rocker inside (unhook Hook "A") Fig. 03.
• Open the saw blade guard (loosen both hex
screws M6 "E") Fig. 05.
• To lock the saw blade, stick the clamping bold
through the lower saw blade guard. "I" Fig. 08.
• Loosen the hex screw "J" with the provided
saw blade key. Remove the saw blade flange
"K" and then remove the saw blade "L" Fig.
08.
• Replace the saw blade.
• Tighten the hex screw „J" with open-end
wrench to 90 Nm
• Remount the saw blade guard.
Notes for working with the combined rocker
circular saw (1536 0903)
If you want to use this machine with the electric
drive, the PTO drive shaft cover (Fig. 13-O) must
be mounted.
Without this cover, the machine does not run in
the electric drive.
Secure the tension of the belt by tightening the
check nut "H".
Now check the belt tension by laying the machine
down.
(Caution: tip danger!)
Now press with the thumb on the tensioned belt;
under strong pressure, it may give only approx.
10-15 mm.
Now set the machine upright again, and tighten
the lock nut again.
