GOVERNOR
The purpose of the governor is to limit the engine speed in order to protect vital parts like the crankshaft and
ignition system from excessive stresses. We therefore advise most strongly against any ir?terference designed to
render it inoperative.
When the saw is run under no-load conditions,
the engine speed is limited to 10000
rev/rein as the governor
comes into operation.
The steel ball and spring in the governor are so devised that vibrations in the carburetter
at a certain engine
speed cause the steel ball to open the fuel passage. An excessively
rich mixture is then obtained
and the
engine begins to four-stroke,
the speed drops and the vibrations decrease. The steel ball then closes the rich-
mixture passage, the engine speed increases and the process is repeated.

Teile der Maschine,
wie Kurbelwelle
und Zundanlage,
vor

Beanspruch ungen zu sch utzen. Wi r warn en deshalb
ausdrtickl ich davor, den Drehzahl regler
absichtlich au~er Betrieb zu setzen.
Im Leerlauf wird die Drehzahl auf etwa 10.000 U/rein begrenzt, wenn der Drehzahlregler
anspricht.
Die Stahlkugel
und die Feder im Drehzahlregler
sind so abgestimmt,
da13die Vibrationen
im Vergaser bei einer
bestimmten
Drehzahl die Freigabe
des Kraftstoffkanals
durch die Stahl kugel bewirken.
Dadurch entsteht ein
Kraftstoffuberschu13
und der Motor beginnt im Viertaktablauf
zu arbeiten, wobei die Drehzahl absinkt und die
Vibrationen
abnehmen.
Dadurch schlie(3t die Stahl kugel den Kraftstoffkanal,
die Drehzahl steigt wieder an und
die Funktion wiederholt sich,
