• The compressor may only be used outdoor briefly
when the ambient conditions are dry.
• The compressor must always be kept dry and must
not be left outdoors after work is complete.

10. Attachment and operation

m Attention!
Always make sure the device is fully assembled
before commissioning!
You require the following for assembly:
• 1x Screwdriver
• 1x open-ended spanner, 17 mm (not included in the
scope of delivery)
10.1 Fitting the wheels (9)
• Fit the wheels (9) provided as shown in Figure 4.
10.2 Fitting the foot (7/A)
• Fit the foot (7/A) provided as shown in Figure 5.
10.3 Fitting the air filter (13)
• Remove the transport plug (fig. 10 item F) and at-
tach the air filter (fig. 11 item 13) to the unit by turn-
ing it clockwise (N) (fig. 12).
• For maintenance purposes, loosen the air filter (13)
by turning it anticlockwise (M) (fig. 12).
10.4 Replacing the transport plug (Fig. 7-9)
Remove the transport plug (12) of the oil filling open-
ing.
Fill the included compressor oil into the compressor
pump housing and insert the supplied oil sealing
plug into the oil filling opening.
10.5 Oil level check (fig. 7- 9)
m Warning: Be sure to check the oil level before
the first use!
1.
Operation without oil will cause irreparable dam-
age to the device and will invalidate the warranty.
2.
Remove the plastic transport plug (10) from the top
of the compressor housing crankcase. (See fig. 7)
3.
Check the oil level using the sight glass (Fig. 9,
item 16). The oil level must be within the red circle.
(see fig. 9 item 16.1)
4.
Attach the sealing plug (fig. 8 item 12), which is in-
cluded in the scope of delivery, and tighten it firmly.
10.6 Mains connection
• The compressor is equipped with a mains cable
with protective contact plug. This can be connect-
ed to any mains socket 230 V~ 50 Hz with an earth
contact and that is protected at 16 A.
• Before commissioning, ensure that the mains volt-
age matches with the operating voltage and the ma-
chine's power rating on the type plate.
• Long supply cables, extensions, cable reels, etc.
cause a drop in voltage and can impede motor start-
up.
• In the case of temperatures below +5°C, motor
starting can be endangered by sluggishness.
10.7 ON/OFF switch (Fig. 2 item 1)
• Pull the ON/OFF switch (1) upwards to switch on the
compressor. Press the ON/OFF switch (1) down to
switch off.
10.8 Pressure switch adjustment
• The pressure switch (3) is set at the factory.
Switch-on pressure ca. 6 bar
Switch-off pressure ca. 8 bar
10.9 Thermal protection switch
The thermal protector is built into the device.
If the thermal protector has tripped, proceed as follows:
• Pull out the mains plug.
• Wait about two to three minutes.
• Plug the device in again.
• If the device does not start, repeat the process.
• If the device does not start again, switch the device
off and on again using the on/off switch (1).
• If you have carried out all of the steps above and the
device still does not work, contact our service team.

11. Electrical connection

The electrical motor installed is connected and
ready for operation. The connection complies
with the applicable VDE and DIN provisions. The
customer's mains connection as well as the ex-
tension cable used must also comply with these
regulations.
When working with spray attachments and during tem-
porary use outdoors, the device must be connected to
a residual current circuit breaker with a trigger current
of 30 mA or less.
