4. Proper use

The compressor is used to generate compressed air
for pneumatically powered tools that can be operated
with an air rate of up to 83/min. (e.g. tyre inflaters, air
blow guns, paint spray guns). Due to the limited air
flow rate, it is not possible to operate tools with a very
high compressed air consumption (e.g. orbital sand-
ers, straight grinders and impact screwdriver).
The compressor may only be operated in a dry and
well ventilated indoor space.
The machine may only be used in the intended man-
ner. Any use beyond this is improper. The user/opera-
tor, not the manufacturer, is responsible for damages
or injuries of any type resulting from this.
Please observe that our equipment was not designed
with the intention of use for commercial or industrial
purposes. We assume no guarantee if the equipment
is used in commercial or industrial applications, or for
equivalent work.
The device is intended for use by adults. Children over
the age of 16 may use the tool except under supervi-
sion. The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused
by an improper use or incorrect operation of this de-
vice.

5. Safety information

m WARNING - Read all safety information, instruc-
tions, illustrations and technical data for this elec-

Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result
in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.

Work area safety
a.
Keep work area clean and well lit.
Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b.
Do not operate power tools in explosive at-
mospheres, such as in the presence of flam-
mable liquids, gases or dust.
Power tools create sparks which may ignite the
dust or fumes.
Keep children and bystanders away while op-
c.
erating a power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
Electrical safety
a.
Power tool plugs must match the outlet.
Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any
adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power
tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will
reduce risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with earthed or ground-
b.
ed surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges
and refrigerators. There is an increased risk
of electric shock if your body is earthed or
grounded.
c.
Do not expose power tools to rain or wet con-
ditions.
Water entering a power tool will increase the risk
of electric shock.
Do not use the cable for another purpose, for
d.
example, carrying or hanging the power tool or
pulling the plug out of the socket.
Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges
or moving device parts. Damaged or coiled cables
increase the risk of an electric shock.
e.
If you work with a power tool outdoors, only
use extension cables that are also suitable for
outdoor use.
Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the
risk of electric shock.
Only use approved and appropriately identified ex-
tension cables for use outdoors.
Only use cable reels in the unrolled state.
If operating a power tool in a damp location
f.
is unavoidable, use a residual current circuit
breaker with a trigger current of 30 mA or less
to protect the power supply.
Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
