TROUBLESHOOTING

Trouble
The engine does not start with the ignition
key, or stops during work.
The engine does not start with the ignition
key, or stops during work, and icon (71-R)
appears on the multifunction display.
The engine does not start with the ignition

appears on the multifunction display.
(For version with Hybrid Kit only). The
machine operates only when stationary,
otherwise it switches off when under load
and the
icon flashes.
(For version with Hybrid Kit only). The
battery autonomy is low.
When turning the ignition key to "I", the
display does not turn on and the machine
does not operate.
The machine does not move when the
accelerator pedal is pressed, and an alarm
message appears on the display.
The machine does not move and the icon
(71-S) appears on the multifunction display.
The machine moves more slowly than usual.
The main broom does not work and the
corresponding icon on the display does not
appear.
The side brooms do not operate.
The machine collects little debris/dust.
The hopper does not lift.
The hopper does not dump.
The hopper does not lower.

Possible cause
The fuel does not reach the engine.
The spark plug does not produce a spark
(LPG).
The batteries are discharged.
The emergency push-button has been
pressed.
The engine oil level is too low.
The temperature of the engine/alternator
assembly is too high.
The batteries are discharged.
Batteries no longer in good condition.
Emergency push-button activated.
Accelerator pedal pressed, while the ignition
key is turned to the "I" position.
The operator is not correctly seated on the
driver's seat.
Drive system fault.
Engine off.
Alternator is faulty.
Hopper not completely closed.
Machine started on a cambered surface and
anti-skid system has lost correct reference.
The safety system has tripped.
The safety system has activated.
The dust filter is clogged.
The hopper is full.
The skirts are not properly adjusted or are
broken.
The brooms are not properly adjusted.
Hydraulic system oil level incorrect.
Machine not level.
The hopper is too low.
Hydraulic oil taking too long to flow through the
safety valve due to low temperature.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Check that the fuel valve is open (diesel).
Check that the tank safety valve is open
(LPG).
Check or replace the spark plug. (*)
Recharge with a proper battery charger.
Check and release the emergency push-
button.
Check the engine oil level and top up. (*)
Wait for the engine to cool down before using
the machine further.
If possible, keep the hood open to facilitate
cooling.
Charge the batteries.
If the trouble persists, replace the batteries.
Replace the batteries.
If necessary, install batteries of a higher
capacity.
Check and release the emergency push-
button.
Turn the ignition key to "0", then restart without
pressing the accelerator pedal.
Sit down on the driver's seat.
Turn off the machine and then turn it on again.
If the trouble persists, contact the Service
Center.
Switch on the engine.
Contact the Service Centre.
Return the hopper to the horizontal position
and lower it completely.
Turn the machine off and then start it again on
a flat surface.
Turn off the machine and then turn it on again.
Check the condition of the main broom (debris
that slows down the broom or excessive
pressure on the ground).
Wait for the side broom motor to cool down,
then reset the fuse by pressing the relevant
push-button.
Clean the dust filter by using the filter shaker
or by disassembling it.
Empty the hopper.
Adjust/replace the skirts.
Adjust the broom height.
Check the hydraulic system oil level in the
tank.
Bring the machine back to a level surface
Lift the hopper at a minimum height of 350
mm.
Wait a few moments to let the hydraulic
system oil flow.
