Terminal blocks
This section explains how to connect power and signal cables to the terminal blocks inside the
wall mount unit. The transducer cables attach to sockets on the left side of the terminal block. Other cables enter the instrument
through the four cable glands provided and are connected to terminal blocks which are located behind a safety cover.
3.6.1
To make power, PT100 and output connections:
1. Remove the terminal block cover by unfastening the two retaining screws.
2. Route the control and monitoring cables through the two smaller cable glands.
3. Cut the wires to length, strip back the insulation by approximately 10mm and connect them into the required terminals as de-
scribed above and identified in the figure below.
4. On completion, tighten the cable glands to ensure the cables are held securely.
