13. the screws are gradually tightened clockwise (not
crosswise) at 60 ° at a time, until all screws are
tight. Tightening torque for M6 is 12Nm, torque
for M8 is 30Nm. Make sure that there is a gap be-
tween the counter bushing and the shrink disk, and
between the bushing and the gear.

The flanged bearings are lubricated with a grease gun
in the grease nipples every 1.000 operating hours, with
a good quality ball bearing grease, like SKF LGMT 2.
Be careful not to overfill the bearings.
The shrink disk screws are re tightened every 1.000
operating hours.
Lubrication of the gear:
The gear is provided with synthetic oil, ISO VG 150, for
operation in a range of -10 to +50°C.
Recommended synthetic oil types are for example:
Mobil SHC 629, Shell Omala S4 GX150, Fuchs Renolin
Unisyn CLP150 or Klüber Klübersynth GEM 4-150N.
Gear oil is replaced the first time after 3.000 hours of
operation, or ½ year, whichever occurs first, and here-
after every 5 years.
The oil level must be checked and possibly refilled
every 3.000 hours of operation. Also check the gear for
oil leakage and condition of the sealings. Replace leaky
seals.
Oil is filled through the (upper) vent screw hole,
checked through the middle screw hole (located right
below the motor axle), and drained through the lower
screw hole.
The gear ventilates through the vent screw during tem-
perature fluctuations.
The gear motor must be cleaned as needed to prevent
overheating.
