5.2.1
Surface of the device
Cleaning
The device can be wiped with a damp, lint-free cloth until no impurities are visible.
Manual Disinfection (optional)
A wipe disinfection can be done if internal hygiene requirements provide this.
Use disinfectants for wipe disinfection according to section 5.1 and observe the manufacturer´s
instructions.
5.2.2
Reusable secretion canister system
Preparation before processing
1. Remove the reusable secretion canister system as described in section 4.4.1, step 5.
2. Separate the lid for reusable secretion canister from the reusable secretion canister as
described in section 4.4.1
3. Empty the reusable secretion canister and dispose of the aspirate properly.
4. If you use an automated disinfection, please remove the overflow protection incl. ball
(Fig. 29(B)). The ball can then be disinfected manually.
Cleaning
1. Rinse all components of the reusable secretion canister under running water under
usage of a lint-free cloth.
2. Let all components of the reusable secretion canister dry.
Manual Disinfection (optional)
1. Immerse the components of the reusable secretion canister in the disinfectant
solution. Use disinfectants for immersion disinfection according to section 5.1 and
observe the manufacturer´s instructions.
2. Rinse the components thoroughly and let them dry.
