Conform Cannula Handpiece with Grasp

Reprocessing Frequent reprocessing has only a limited impact on the Conform Cannula Handpiece. The end of

Automatic Equipment: Washer-disinfector with a special load carrier that ensures the connection of hand-
cleaning pieces to the washer-disinfector and the rinsing of channels. Use neutral or alkaline cleaning
and disinfection agents in the recommended concentration.
1. Place the transmission capsule and the handle in the load carrier (ensure the rinsing of chan-
nels).
2. Place cannula adapter, tube adapter with O-ring, connection tube, locking clamp and blocking
ring in a fine meshed basket.
3. Set a cleaning cycle that offers sufficient cleaning and rinsing. Perform the final rinse with
fully deionized water.
4. Perform a 10-minute rinse cycle at 93°C to facilitate thermal disinfection.
5. When unloading the transmission capsule, handle and small parts check for visible soiling in
gaps and grooves. If necessary, repeat the cycle or clean manually.
Manual cleaning Equipment: Neutral or alkaline cleaning agent in the recommended concentration, soft brush,
running water.
Procedure:
1. Rinse off and brush away surface soiling at the transmission capsule, handle and small parts.
2. Use brush to apply cleaning agent to all surfaces and gaps.
3. Rinse transmission capsule, handle and small parts thoroughly under running water.
Put the piece of silicone tube, handle and blocking ring immediately after liposuction into a fat
and protein dissolving agent (such as Edisonite). Flush all parts under high pressure water (pres-
surized water, perfusion syringe).
Manual For manual disinfection, place the transmission capsule, handle and small parts in a RKI*-tested
disinfection disinfectant (insertion time according to instructions of the manufacturer).

If there is no drying program provided at the Cleaning and Disinfection device, dry the transmis-

Inspection and Check for visible damage, corrosion and wear. Place spray adapter
maintenance (REF 1958) on the NouClean-spray and insert the spray adaptor into
the transmission capsule. Apply a short, approx. 3-second burst of
NouClean spray (see instruction on the spray can) and wipe off
excess liquid with a moistened cloth. If a sufficient lubricant delivery
is not possible because of back pressure, pull the spray adapter out,

hold the moistened cloth around the instrument and the adapter
and spray into the couplings opening. Clean spilling with the cloth.
