11.4 Installing and connecting the flight battery

The flight battery and battery compartment feature hook-and-loop fasteners.
Important! The remote control must be switched on and ready for use before you connect the flight
battery.
Important! When the flight battery is connected, the automatic controls may start the model unex-
pectedly. Keep body parts and objects away from the propellers!
Insert the battery as follows:
1. Ensure that the remote control is ready for use.
2. Turn over the model.
3. Connect the battery to the power supply cable
4. Insert the battery into the battery compartment and secure it with the hook-and-loop fasteners in the battery
compartment .

- If necessary, run part of the power supply cable into the fuselage so that there is sufficient space for the battery.

11.5 Checking the control functions

There are a total of 4 functions to check: Motor function, neutral position, rudder and elevator
The flight battery must be connected and the remote control must be switched on and ready for use.
11.5.1 Prerequisites
Caution! Remove paper, film or other objects from the suction area of the propellers.
1. Secure the model in place to prevent it from taking off.
2. Check that the propellers can rotate freely.
11.5.2 Motor function

1. Unlock the motors via the motor lock button
2. Move the left-hand joystick (R14) slowly upwards until the motors are at full load
3. Move the joystick back to the lowest position. The motors will switch off.
4. Lock the motors with the motor lock button .
