4. Electrical system
Metal parts becoming live and fire starting due to an
incorrect or faulty electrical system.
5. Noise level
Excessive levels of noise can damage the hearing of
people who are regularly near a circular saw table.
6. Harmful sawdust
The production and circulation of sawdust can be
harmful to health. This is also true for sawing plastic
and glued wood workpieces, since harmful vapours
may also be released in addition to dust.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

APPLICATIONS
This sawing machine can be used for sawing wood up to
43 mm thick.
SAW BLADE SELECTION
Select a saw blade that conforms to standard EN-847.
Make sure that the teeth are in good condition and
sharp. This will give a better saw cut and enable you to
work faster.
CHANGING THE SAW BLADE
Fig. 2
Take the plug out of the wall socket before starting
to change the saw blade.
To replace the saw blade, proceed as follows:
Undo the two screws (B) in the sawdust collection
container (A) at the front.
The sawdust collection container can now be taken
off.
Use a spanner to unscrew the saw blade nut (C).
When doing this, hold the spindle still with a spanner.
Remove the outer flange (D).
The saw blade can now be taken off by pulling it down
at an angle.
Behind the saw blade there is another flange (E);
make sure it is in place when you fit a new saw blade.
The instructions for fitting the saw blade are the
reverse of those for removing it.
When fitting, make sure that the arrow on the saw
blade points in the same direction as the one on the
sawdust collection container.
ADJUSTING THE RIVING KNIFE
Fig. 3
Since the sawing process reduces the diameter of the
saw blade, the riving knife should occasionally be
adjusted downwards. Do this as follows:
Remove the insert (A) by undoing both screws (B).
Undo the screws (C) in the riving knife.
Adjust the riving knife (D) so that its highest point is
at least 3 mm away from the saw blade, with a
maximum of 5 mm. It must be re-adjusted whenever
the distance exceeds 5 mm.
Re-tighten the riving knife screws.
Put the insert back in place.

SETTING THE SAWING ANGLE
Fig. 4
The saw blade on the machine can be tilted by up to 45°.
To do this, proceed as follows:
Undo the two locking buttons (A).
Tilt the saw blade to the required angle.
The angle can be read off on the gauge (B).
Re-tighten the locking buttons (A).
STARTING UP THE CIRCULAR SAW TABLE
The machine is switched off by pressing the red
button.
The machine is switched on by pressing the green
button.
If the mains voltage is interrupted or the mains plug is
taken out of the wall socket, the machine will
immediately be switched off by the safety switch. If the
mains voltage then suddenly comes back on, the sawing
machine will not be switched on. It will only be switched
on again when the green button is pressed.
DUST EXTRACTOR
The saw bench has a connector for a dust extractor.
Connecting a dust extractor hose with an inside
diameter of 31 mm to this connector gives you a perfect
dust extraction system while sawing.

USING THE MACHINE

SAWING
Fig. 5
Take care that your hands do not get too close to
the saw blade during sawing.
To saw, proceed as follows:
Undo the two screws in the rip fence (A) at the side
of the table.
Set the rip fence to the size you require.
Re-tighten the screws.
Set the saw guard (C) to the correct height.
Switch the machine on.
Press the work slowly and with the minimum of
pressure against the saw blade.
When the end of the work approaches the saw blade,
use a push stick (B) to feed the work further.
Use the push stick from the start when feeding short
workpieces.
Switch the machine off.
RIP FENCE
Fig. 6
The rip fence (B) allows a mitre of up to 45° to be sawn.
To do this, use the protractor gauge (A), which moves
past the rip fence.
