General Assembly and Use

3.1

Locking the Wheels

1. To lock the front wheel(s), place your foot on the wheel locking lever and push down firmly.
2. To unlock the front wheel(s), place your foot under the wheel locking lever and lift up.
3.2

Installing the IV Pole

1. Lock the rear wheels of the cart.
2. Insert the IV Pole into the mounting post of the cart.
3. Lift the IV pole up slightly to screw the rubber foot onto bottom of IV pole.

Removing the IV Pole

1. Lock the rear wheels of the cart and remove all fluids from the saline bag hangers prior to removing the
IV pole.
2. Unscrew the rubber foot from bottom of IV pole.
3. Lift the pole up and out to free it from the mounting post in the cart.
3.4

Adjusting Shelf

1. The shelves of the D4001 Procedure Cart are adjustable in 1" (25.4 mm) increments.
2. To adjust the position of a shelf, use the supplied 4mm hex key to remove the 4 supporting screws.
3. Move the shelf to the desired position.
4. Insert the 4 supporting screws and tighten.
5. To install the accessory shelf, move shelf to desired position, insert the 4 supporting screws with lock washers
attached and tighten using the 4 mm hex key.
