Troubleshooting

Problem
The high-pressure cover
does not close properly.
I experience problems
opening the high-pressure
cover.
Steam leaks out of the side
of the high-pressure cover.
Steam leaks from the pres-
sure relief valve for more
than 2 minutes.
The pressure relief valve
does not rise.
Steam continues to come
out of the steam valve.
Rice is not fully cooked/
too firm.

Possible cause
1. The silicon sealing ring is not
properly attached.
2. The cover is not properly seated
on the housing.
1. There is still pressure in the inner
pot.
2. The pressure relief valve is stuck
in its outermost position
.
1. The silicone sealing ring is missing.
2. The silicone sealing ring is defec-
tive/broken.
3. Food residues on the silicone
sealing ring.
4. The lid is not firmly in place.
1. There is food stuck on the silicone
seal on the underside of the
pressure relief valve.
2. The silicone seal of the pressure
relief valve is worn.
1. There is not enough water in the
inner pot.
2. The sealing ring of the pressure
relief valve can be broken.
1. The steam valve is not attached or
not attached properly.
2. The high-pressure system does
not work any more.
1. Not enough water has been
added.
2. The high-pressure cover has
been opened too early.
Solution
1. Replace the silicone sealing
ring and make sure it seals well
everywhere.
2. Lift the housing cover, place
it back on the housing, turn
clockwise and make sure the
arrows on the housing and lid
are aligned with the closed-lock
symbol.
1. Press Release Pressure button to
release pressure.
2. First follow step 1 to make sure
that all pressure has been re-
leased. Now gently press on the
pressure relief valve with a long
tool or pen.
1. Place the silicone sealing ring.
2. Replace the silicone sealing ring.
3. Clean the silicone seal ring.
4. Open the lid and close it again.
1. Wipe the silicone seal on the
underside of the pressure relief
valve clean
2. Replace the silicone seal on the
pressure relief valve.
1. Add more water to the inner pot,
according to the recipe.
2. Replace the sealing ring of the
pressure relief valve.
1. Place the steam valve on the iron
steam outlet on top of the high
pressure cover.
2. Contact your point of purchase.
1. Adjust the ratio of rice to water
according to the recipe.
2. Once the cooking program is
completed, leave the pressure lid
closed for another 5 minutes.
