Safety precautions for your Espressions Smart Pressure Cooker
To avoid danger to people, animals and objects, read these
instructions carefully before using your Espressions Smart Pressure
Cooker and keep them handy for future reference.
•
The manufacturer and seller shall only be held responsible for
safety, reliability and performance if:
a) the machine is used in accordance with the operating instructions;
b) the power supply in which the machine is used complies with the
applicable laws and standards.
•
If the appliance malfunctions or is damaged in any way, do not use
it until it is repaired by the manufacturer, its service centre or a third
party with sufficient qualifications to prevent any risks.
•
Do not place the appliance near heat sources, sources of high
magnetic fields, flammable or highly flammable sources of gas,
gas cookers or ovens, in order to avoid damage to components,
breakage and fire.
•
Always ensure that the lid is properly closed before using any of the
Smart Pressure Cooker's functions.
•
To avoid electric shock, prepare food only in the inner pot provided.
•
Use the inner pot only in the Smart Pressure Cooker. The inner pot
is not suitable for other appliances or heat sources such as a gas
cooker.
•
Turn off the appliance and all controls before plugging in or
unplugging. Remove by gripping the plug - do not pull on the wire.
•
Be very careful when moving the inner pot with hot ingredients
inside and always use oven mitts.
•
The appliance is not suitable for use by or near children, persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons
who have not been given information and instructions concerning
the use of this appliance.
•
Before using the unit, check it for damage to the power cable,
plug and other parts. If any damage is found, stop using the unit
immediately and contact an authorised repair or service centre. Do
not attempt to repair any damage yourself.
•
Disconnect the appliance from the mains before removing
