The DL8 LED indicates mistakes in the board logic with a series of pre-set flashes in different colours:

The board recognizes the variation in position of the RALL trimmer
and signals the memorization to be carried out in order to learn the
new deceleration.

Check wiring between the controllers, efficiency of slave controller
(fuses), efficiency of interface boards;
