Enter fusion data

Fusion data entry can be done via barcode reading, manual insertion or
automatically, in CP mode (only for US version). Barcode input is the
default setting, thus, during the first welding process, the machine will
assume to read the fusion parameters in a barcode.
To change the input mode, the user has to enter into the
MACHINE SET-UP menu and select the desired option (see
'Configuration' chapter).

Barcode insertion

If the machine is properly connected to the fitting, the control unit
checks the fitting resistance and displays it to the user.
The user has two ways of inserting the fusion parameter using the
barcode information:

Either reading the code with the scanner or optical pen
•
Or, if the data cannot be read with these devices for any reason,
the user can manually enter the 24 digits printed on the barcode
by pressing the () button to go into "edit" mode and then using
() and () to select the required value and the () button to
select the next digit. Once the 24 digits are entered,
START/OK ( I ).
