Switching Threshold Presetting
4.7.1
Description
With the help of switching threshold presetting, the
switching thresholds of the sensor as well as the hysteresis
can be adjusted to typical object types that you want to
detect. After selecting an object type, the sensor always
operates in single-point switching mode (see section
Switching Profiles on page 26) with the preset switching
threshold and hysteresis.
With the selection of a switching threshold preset, it is
assumed that the sensor is aligned to the transmitter and a
teach-in of the 100 % reference is automatically
performed.
The Teach Channel parameter can be used to select the
Switching Signal Channel for which the switching threshold
presetting is performed.
If the object detection does not work reliably with the
preset switching threshold, another object type can be
selected or the setting can be performed in Manual Mode.
