Operation

7.1

Authorisation

Requirement(s):
ü The symbol "Standby" lights up on the LED in-
formation panel.
u Authorise (dependent on the configuration).
u If necessary, observe the instructions on the
product (e.g. scan QR code).
ð If the authorisation was successful, the symbol
"Wait time" lights up on the LED information
panel. The charging process can now be star-
ted.
If charging does not start within the config-
urable release time, the authorisation is re-
set and the product switches to "Standby"
mode. The authorisation process must be
repeated.
The following authorisation options are available:
No authorisation (Autostart)
All users can charge.
Authorisation through RFID
Users with an RFID card or users whose RFID UID is
entered in the local whitelist can charge.
u Hold the RFID card in front of the RFID card
reader.
Authorisation through the backend system
Authorisation is dependent on the backend system,
for example an RFID card, smartphone app or ad
hoc (e.g. direct payment).
u Follow the instructions for the respective
backend system.
Authorisation through the backendsystem and
ISO 15118
Only valid for the PnC-compatible product variants.
Authorisation takes place by communication
between product and vehicle according to ISO
15118.

ü Your vehicle and backend system support ISO
15118.
u Follow the instructions for the respective
backend system.
Authorisation through Autocharge
Only valid for the PnC-compatible product variants.
Authorisation takes place by communication
between product and vehicle through Autocharge.
Requirement(s):
ü Your vehicle and if necessary your backend sys-
tem support Autocharge.
7.2

Charging the vehicle

WARNING
Risk of injury from using unsuitable aids
If unsuitable aids (e.g. adapter plugs, extension
cables) are used during the charging process, there
is a risk of electric shock or cable fire.
u Use only the charging cable intended for the
vehicle and the product.
