D. 2ND INJECTOR KIT INSTALLATION
2ND INJECTOR ASSEMBLY
1.
Insert the second injector support fixing bracket inside
the manifold. Allow the two pins to come out of the Ø 8
mm / 0.31" holes milled previously.
2.
Use the supplied
washers and screws
to fix GET's fuel rail,
2nd injector and 2nd
injector support bracket
to the 2nd injector
fixing bracket. Seal
the manifold surfaces
with a silicone sealant:
we suggest applying
Athena's Athesil RTV
silicone sealant (not
included in the box).
3.
Re-install the manifold, which is now equipped with
GET second injector.
4.
Re-install the rear subframe: tighten the screws to
bring the rear subframe back in position.
5.
Connect GET fuel hose to the 3-way fitting. Fix it
with a hose clamp.
ATTENTION: PASS GET FUEL HOSE BEHIND THE
THROTTLE CABLE TO AVOID BURNING IT ON THE
EXHAUST MANIFOLD.

Plug GET fuel hose
to the fuel rail and fix it
with a hose clamp.
7.
Remove the protective
cap from the "INJ2"
GET ECU connector and
plug it into the female
second injector harness
connector.
8.
Plug the male
connector of the 2nd
injector harness into
the 2nd injector. Fix the
second injector harness
and the fuel hoses to the
frame or to the throttle
body with zip ties (not
included) to keep them
away from the exhaust,
otherwise they could melt.
9.
Re-install the exhaust, the fuel tank, and all the components
removed during the preparatory steps except the seat.
10.
Connect hose B
back to the fuel pump.
