Operation (3D mode)
 Concerning the amount of parallax
The point where the optical axes of the two cameras used to shoot the left-eye image (Lch) and right-eye image (Rch) converge
is called the "convergence point".
When shooting 3D images, the surface where this convergence point is positioned serves as the reference.
For the purposes of these instructions, this reference surface is referred to as the "virtual screen".
When a subject at the "virtual screen" position is shot, it will be at the same position in both the Lch and Rch images.

When a subject in front of (jutting out direction) the virtual screen is shot, it will be positioned on the right side in the Lch image
and on the left side in the Rch image.
Conversely, when a subject behind (recessed direction) the virtual screen is shot, it will be positioned on the left side in the Lch
image and on the right side in the Rch image.
For the purposes of these instructions, the difference (area P in the figures below) between the positions of the subject formed
when the two images (Lch and Rch) are superimposed is referred to as the "amount of parallax", and it is indicated as a
percentage of the picture width.
