Attenzione: non utilizzare benzina o soluzioni de-
tergenti con un basso grado di infiammabilità per
pulire la cartuccia del filtro dell'aria. Ciò potrebbe
causare incendi o esplosione.
Spingere in fuori il prefiltro per rimuovere il solvente/

liscivia di sapone.
5 Pulire il filtro di carta sbattendolo.
Sciacquare a fondo l'elemento filtro lavato con ac-
6
qua pulita.
7 Far asciugare a fondo l'elemento filtro oppure asciu-
garlo con aria compressa.
Agganciare la copertura del filtro e stringere la vite
8
della manopola.
Se il motore viene fatto funzionare in un ambiente molto
polveroso, pulire quotidianamente il filtro dell'aria ogni
giorno oppure ogni dieci ore di esercizio.
Non far girare il motore senza la cartuccia del filtro
dell'aria o nel caso in cui questa sia danneggiata. Se
la sporcizia penetra nel motore possono prodursi gravi
danni al motore.
Il produttore non si assume alcuna responsabilità per i
danni risultanti da tale uso. Il rischio è esclusivamente
a carico dell'utilizzatore.
Trasporto e stoccaggio
Lasciare che il motore si raffreddi prima di traspor-

tarlo o di immagazzinarlo.
2 Prima del trasporto del gruppo elettrogeno, porta-
re l'interruttore di accensione in posizione (off) e il
rubinetto di benzina in posizione (off).
Tenere il gruppo elettrogeno in posizione orizzon-

tale in modo che la benzina non fuoriesca. Vapori
di benzina o benzina versata possono incendiarsi.
Non lasciare che il gruppo elettrogeno cada e non
4
esporlo a colpi durante il trasporto.
Non appoggiare oggetti pesanti sul gruppo elettro-
5
geno.
6 Prima dell'immagazzinamento dell'apparecchio per
un lungo periodo di tempo:
accertarsi che il luogo di deposito non sia eccessi-
7
vamente umido o polveroso.
In caso di immagazzinamento per un lungo periodo
Svuotare il serbatoio di carburante e far funzionare
1
a vuoto il carburatore.
2 Svitare la candela di accensione.
Versare circa 20 ml di olio motore pulito nel cilindro
3
attraverso il foro della candela di accensione.
4 Quindi tirare verso fuori lentamente la corda dello
starter in modo che l'olio si distribuisca nel motore
e riavviare la candela di accensione.
Rimuovere a fondo sporcizia, depositi e polvere dal
5
motore e dalla testata del cilindro.
6 Pulire il filtro dell'aria oppure sostituire in caso di
forte sporco o danneggiamento.
Conservare il generatore di corrente protetto in un

ambiente asciutto, lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
8 Non lasciare l'apparecchio all'aperto incustodito.
9 Coprire il dispositivo e il motore per proteggerlo dalla
polvere e depositarlo in un luogo pulito e asciutto.
Attention: Do not use petrol or cleaning solvents with
a low flash point to clean the air filter element. This
could result in fire or explosion.
Squeeze the pre-filter in order to remove the solvent/

soapy water.
5 Clean the paper filter by tapping it.
Rinse the washed filter element with clean water.

Allow the filter element to dry or blow it dry with com-
7
pressed air.
8 Close the filter cover (F) again and secure it by using
the locking (E).
If the engine is operated in very dusty environments,
clean the air filter daily or after every ten operating hours.
Never run the engine without an air filter or with a dam-
aged air filter. This would allow dirt into the engine, which
would result in severe damage to the engine.
The manufacturer is not responsible for the resulting
damages; the user solely bears the risk.
Transport and storage
Allow the engine to cool before transporting or stor-

ing it.
2 Before transporting the power unit, switch the igni-
tion (19) to the (off) position and turn the fuel valve
(5) to the (off) position shown at machine.
Keep the power unit level so that no petrol is spilled.

Petrol vapour or spilled petrol may ignite.
4 Ensure that the power unit does not fall and do not
subject it to any blows during transport.
Do not place any heavy items on the power unit.

6 Before storing the unit for a long period of time:
7 Ensure that the storage location is not excessively
damp or dusty.
When storing for a long period of time
1 Empty the fuel tank and run the carburettor empty.
2 Unscrew the spark plug.
Pour approximately 20 ml of clean engine oil through
3
the spark plug hole into the cylinder.
Pull the starter rope out slowly so that the oil distrib-
4
utes itself in the engine and screw the spark plug
back in.
Remove all dirt, deposits and dust from the engine
5
and the cylinder head ridges.
6 Clean the air filter or replace it if it is very dirty.
7 Store the generator securely in a dry place that is
inaccessible to children.
The unit may not be stored in the open.

9 Cover the unit and the engine to protect against dust
and store in a clean, dry place.
