Notice
Moisture must not be allowed to penetrate the free end of
the connection cable. Otherwise the characteristic values
of the transducer could vary, and cause measurement
errors.
5.3

Deposits

Dust, dirt and other foreign matter must not be allowed to
accumulate sufficiently to divert some of the force to be
measured, thus invalidating the measured value (force
shunt).
Notice
Measurement errors may be the result if dust or dirt is
deposited inside the load cells. The relevant areas are
marked by arrows in Fig. 5.1.
