16 Assembly

16.1 Assembly the product

• Information on installation conditions (e.g. orientation, permitted ambient
temperatures) are provided in chapter Technical data.
• Information on dimensions and locations of connections are provided in chapter
18.2.
• Please note the instructions on installation and assembly in chapter 2.6.3
and chapter 3.2.
• Funktionserde am Gewindestift (siehe Abb.59) anschließen.
• Mitgelieferte Schutzkappen montieren
• Connect Function ground at threaded pin (refer to Fig.59).
• Make a functional earth connection to the grounded gun base body.
Recommendation 2.5mm² cable.
• Mounting of provided protection caps.
• Keep a minimum distance of 100 mm of the MGDM plug XFS1 to the transformer
secondary side (pole connections +,-), busbars, current straps and gun arms.
