When installing and operating the transducers, please note the maximum para­
sitic forces - lateral forces, bending and torsional moments, see Chapter 11,
page 35 - and the maximum permissible load-carrying capacity of the force
application parts used.
7.3

Assembly with adapter

The U10 can be directly mounted onto the structural
elements in this mounting variant. The internal threads on the force transducer
and adapter can be used for this purpose. The transducer can then measure
axial forces in both the tensile and pressure directions. Alternating loads are
