Gegebenenfalls an den ± Tasten
eine von der
Grundeinstellung der Frontplatte abweichende
Ausgangsleistung einstellen. Die Begrenzung
der Ausgangsleistung kann zwischen 1 Watt
und 120 Watt eingestellt werden und wird im
Display
angezeigt.
Vorsicht: Bei Anwendung spitzer bipo-
larer Koagulationspinzetten können die
Spitzen durch zu hohe elektrische Strö-
me thermisch beschädigt werden. Es
empfiehlt sich deshalb, die Leistungs-
begrenzung möglichst tief einzustellen
und/oder darauf zu achten, dass die
Spitzen der Koagulationselektroden
einander nicht berühren.
Autostart-Funktion
Die Autostart-Funktion ermöglicht im Koagulati-
onsmodus „Bipolare Koagulation" eine automa-
tische Aktivierung des Koagulationsstromes,
sobald die Koagulationselektrode mit beiden
Branchen das Gewebe berührt.
Die Autostart-Funktion erlaubt eine Aktivierung
der Koagulation mit Verzögerungen zwischen
0,1 und 1 Sekunde. Ab Werk ist ein Wert von
0,5 Sekunden voreingestellt. Die Einschalt-Ver-
zögerungszeiten können vom Anwender nach
eigenem Ermessen neu festgelegt werden.

If necessary, set a power output different to the
basic setting on the front panel using the ± but-
tons
. Limitation of the power output can be
set between 1 and 120 watts and is indicated
on display

Caution: When using pointed bipolar
coagulation forceps, the tips can suffer
thermal damage due to electrical cur-
rents being too high. It is therefore rec-
ommended that the power limitation be
set as low as possible and/or that care
be taken to ensure that the tips of the
coagulation electrodes do not touch
each other.
Autostart function
In "Bipolar coagulation" mode, the Autostart
function enables automatic activation of the
coagulation current as soon as both branches
of the coagulation electrode touch the tissue.
The Autostart function allows activation of
coagulation with delay between 0.1 and 1 sec-
ond. A value of 0.5 seconds is preset ex works.
The ON delay times can be reset by the user
according to his own judgment. Please refer to
page 40.

Advertencia: Al emplear pinzas puntia-
gudas de coagulación bipolar, la punta
puede resultar térmicamente deteriorada
por corrientes eléctricas demasiado ele-
vadas. Por esa razón se recomienda ajus-
tar el límite de potencia lo más bajo posi-
ble y/o prestar atención a que las puntas
de los electrodos de coagulación no se
toquen entre sí.
Función Autostart
La función Autostart posibilita una activación au-
tomática de la corriente de coagulación cuando
se trabaja en el modo de coagulación "Coagula-
ción bipolar". En este caso, la corriente de
coagulación se activa en cuanto ambas ramas de
la pinza del electrodo de coagulación entran en
contacto con el tejido.
La función Autostart permite activar la coagula-
ción con una demora de entre 0,1 y 1 segundo.
En fabrica se ha ajustado el valor de 0,5
segundos. Los tiempos de demora de la co-
nexión pueden ajustarse por el usario de acuerdo
a sus necesidades.
