Dismantling and replacement

Section 2.6.3 from page 141 as well as Section 3.2 from page 150.
Installation and assembly are reserved to qualified personnel.

Make a backup of necessary weld timer data - if necessary. The
„Backup" functionality is available within the PRI7000 user interface
for this purpose.
The procedure is described in the online help of the PRI7000.
Switch off the power supply (mains) and secure the power supply

against unauthorized/unintended reclosing.This will be simulated
with the switch „NETZ EIN" please refer to Fig.2.
The STZ LED is extinguished.
Switch off the 24 V supply (infeed at XDS1).

The display on the diagnosis module is extinguished.
If possible, continue to use the AnyBus module or the withdrawable
Ethernet module in the new unit. A reconfiguration of the relevant in­
terfaces is thus not necessary.
Make sure that all connections to the front side of the simulator are

marked clearly and then pull off the connections.
Remove the unit.

For transport and storage, please take into account the information
provided in Section „Transport and storage" on page 195 and for dis­
posal the information provided in Section „Disposal" on page 261.
When dismantling the unit, make sure that all remaining connection

cables are sufficiently insulated and protected against contact.
Dismantling has now been completed.
Additional steps if the dismantled unit is to be replaced:
Install the new unit (refer to Section „Assembly" from page 197).

Carry out a commissioning procedure (refer to page et seq. 247).

If necessary after commissioning, enter the necessary data into the

weld timer again.
